With three entrants at the Eastern Area Closed, Cambridge came back with two medals. Captain Chris Coward took gold from the men’s U90,  with three wins out of three. Rob Blackburn got through his pool in the men’s U73, but lost in the semi-final and left with bronze. Liang Wu was unlucky to be drawn in a tough pool with two dan grades. Finding himself at a considerable experience disadvantage, he fought well but didn’t manage to leave the pool.

Thanks to Nick for coming along and providing coaching on the day. This was a good end to another successful year for Cambridge Judo.
