About the club

Cambridge Judo Club, developed since 1906, welcomes adults from across Cambridge and the world, students and non-students.

We are a vibrant club with a diverse membership of beginners, social judoka and talented amateurs from Cambridge University and the surrounding area. We train hard, but with an ethos of fun, respect and personal development, so we cater for everyone from complete beginners to international-standard black belts.

We are also a social club, and regularly organise social events; from a post-training pint and/or meal and formal dinners, to trips away in England and abroad. The club has recently visited Germany, Finland, Poland, Belgium and Japan.

Please just come along to a training session to join in or find out more, or email if you have any further questions.

Check out the Training and Membership pages for more information on when we train and how to become a member.

The Club is affiliated to the British Judo Association (BJA), which is the largest Governing body in the UK and a member of the International Judo Federation.
